"Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies it remains alone, but if it dies, it produces much grain." John 12:24 NKJV Easter is coming, and I wanted to share a nugget with you. Or maybe a grain of truth. Much Christians wouldn't see too much to the account of the creation. God created and that was good. We have the moon, the stars, bodies of water, night and day, but there tucked in a way in that first chapter of genesis, is something might overlook.
Jesus had fulfilled this prophecy The Bible is a prophetic book. Even before Isaiah was written, God spoke his words through his people and prophesied about the Messiah. One of the famous prophecy is found in Genesis 3:15. Because the serpent deceived Eve, God said he would cause his seed to be at war against the serpent's seed. He wasn't talking about any snake or any seed. He was talking about Jesus and his death on the cross. "It shall bruise thy head, and it shall bruise its heel." But did you know that Genesis 1:11-13 is also about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ? The word seed means child or offspring. It is the same word Moses used in Genesis 3:15. It is not about someone planting corn or wheat although it could be about it in a physical sense, but God was saying something here. Long ago, The Great I am held a meeting. All the holy angels stood around as The triune being met: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God said, "Man is going to sin. (He had known about Lucifer) and it will forever separate us from them. I want a relationship with man.." He goes on to say, " The blood of animals can not appease me anymore. Is there anyone of us who would go as the pure and spotless lamb?" Jesus responded, "Here I am! It is written about me in the scrolls. Send me!" And they sealed it. God the Father said, "I will send you as a baby. Let you take on flesh and blood so that you can identify with man. But, my Holy Spirit will birth you into a virgin who will have not known a man and he must come from the line of David to fulfill prophecy." So God sent a seed, his offspring into the world. He didn't come to let the good times roll. He didn't just come to teach, heal and deliver. He came to save! He came as that grain of wheat that must fall into the ground and die, but when raised up, he will produce much fruit, which is believers all around the world. Verse 13 states that the evening and morning was the third day. God had just spoken about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Many farmers understand how seeds grow. They understand that in order to produce a crop they must plant a seed, God, is our great farmer. He sent his to earth, 33 and a half years later, the seed fell to the ground, died and God raised him on the third day. I know that this is not a new book, but I checked it out of the library for research. I am working on a mystery and I wanted to see how other mystery writers tells their story. I will write more about that later.
In A Killer Read, the sleuth is a reading specialist. I identify with her as I was in education myself. In fact, I got to love her and her friends and I plan to read the next book some day. Lizzie Turner and her club members had a death happen outside her friend's Molly's house while they heard their first meeting. No one knew who he was or what he wanted. To add to the mystery, someone sends her chapters of manuscripts that seemed like a true story and she also gets calls about her daddy whom her and her mother thought had an affair when he was a journalist working on a story that killed him. I like the story, but it needs a little bit of editing. A reviewer pointed out that she obsessed on what she or the character wear too many times. Although she was just showing readers what she was seeing, maybe a little too many times is too much? My question pertains the everyday activities of the teacher. Was it a point for her to write all that? Nevertheless, I enjoyed the book. If I had downloaded from Amazon, she would get four stars. I hope the next is even better. Now why did I read it for research? My mystery is called Who Killed Sylvia Moon. It is about a young caregiver (In her thirties) who is also a mystery author. Her recipient has a sister she couldn't stand and could care less about and then she gets nightmares. When this author and publisher of Lunas Publication had a series of attempts on her life, and Serena's best friend is accused of attacking her, Serena has a change of heart and starts sleuthing around to the handsome detective dismay. The story is like no other. She relies on the Lord to help her but she doesn't have it easy. He doesn't drop clues, but leads her to the next person she asked. Could Serena find out who killed Sylvia and find freedom from her guilt? Madison Books is pleased to announced new short stories free for you to read right here on her blog! No downloads and the only link you need will lead you to her blog. Each week, she will post a chapter from her short story and the first short story will be about an indebted but contented widowed farmer who meets a woman who resembles the one in painting he inherited.
For you have need of endurance so that after you have done the will of God you may receive the promise." Hebrews 10:36 NKJV No one likes patience. We all want results now and not later, but there were many people in the Bible who didn't get what God promised right away. Abraham waited 25 years until Isaac was born. David waited until Saul was no longer king. Joseph waited thirteen years before he became second to Pharaoh. But we need patience. Aren't we as believers suppose to be like our heavenly Father? Paul wrote that love is patience and since God is love then he is also patient. If he wasn't, then we are in trouble.
James and Paul both agreed that we should let patience have its way in us, but it is so hard. When everything around us looks bleaks, people are giving up on God to save us from this corrupted government, we just want to say, "Come Lord, Jesus come!" Mary and Martha had a sick brother. They wanted Jesus to heal him, but Jesus took his time. He was in no hurry to go and heal Lazarus because he had better plan, a plan the sisters never imagined could happen. And God got the glory! so that after you have done the will of God you may receive a promise. What is the will of God? It is doing what His word tells us to do. Paul wrote that giving thanks is the will of God. Hard to do when you don't have anything to give thanks for, but he didn't say "for" it but "in" it. "Lord, thank you for a beautiful day to go walking" when your car breaks down. "Thank you for provision," when you lost your job. Believe me I have been there. I could look at my circumstances and wonder how I could give thanks, but I look at his word and say, "Thank you for supplying all my needs." Jesus said, "if you believe you receive you shall have." If someone gives you something, do you thank them? If you ask for strength and you believe he gave it to you, you should thank him. Sometimes the will of God is acting on your convictions. If God put on your heart to resign from working because you would compromise your morals and what you believe and you find that you are out of job and the job market looks bleak, you need to have patience until God can provide that job for you. This is my situation. I felt God gave me peace to resign as a substitute teacher. I acted on my conviction even though most employers are looking for job seekers who are vaccinated or in my second choice of jobs, have a car. Maybe this is more for me than you, but after I read it, I felt encouraged. I live by faith and I will not draw back for God has no pleasure in that. Jesus will come, but not on anyone's timetable. and he is not coming to rapture us first. He is coming in his glory and to reveal his glory to all mankind. I want to encourage to live by faith and to remind you that the Holy Spirit will help produce patience in you if you need it. Let patience in work in you and in all of us. "For without faith it is impossible to please God." If you want to please God, you have to have faith. Are you pleasing Him by the way you live? The scripture says that the righteous live by faith. The opposite of faith is fear and there are Christians who aren't pleasing God. Instead of trusting Him to protect them from the virus which to Him is like all other viruses, they put their trust in a mask or the vaccine. Why? Is it possible that they see the vaccine like all other vaccines? Are they putting their trust in something man made? The vaccine is NOT like the others. Reports shows that people have gotten sick from the jab or they need a booster shot because the first strong enough. They also become demoralized. And yet people swear by the vaccine. A vaccine needs years to be proven effective yet people jump at the chance to get protected by something not of God. They are not putting their trust in the blood of Jesus. Then again maybe they haven't made Jesus Lord of their lives... I was on an app called NextDoor which is a localized posting app. As soon as you put in your address, or allow access for location, the app puts you in a neighborhood. I made a mistake by posting about my unemployment status. When I admitted that I'm not vaccinated, I quickly learn that the local users are for the vaccine. I'm stunned that you're not vaccinated. I wouldn't want an unvaccinated to give care to my loved one. The Lord reminded me that some people aren't saved or don't have the knowledge I have. When I resigned from subbing, I had peace, I won't let her take my peace from me. So what does this have to do with pleasing God? Plenty! I have faith that God will provide a job for me the same way he has in the past. Since I made God my source of income and not my job, I can wait upon him to provide a job for me. You can too! Although the job hasn't surfaced yet, it doesn't mean He won't. It takes faith in times of uncertainty. Many employers have bowed the knee to the vaccine mandate and demand the applicants to get the vaccination if they want to work there or have proof of vaccination. People quit because they don't people to force them to get the vaccine. They value their freedom over their jobs and so do I. I have faith that the right job will come along. Even when no income is evident, I will trust in Him to provide. Be not conform but we transformed by the renewing of your mind If you receive through Genesis 2, you will noticed that God is now called The Lord God. He has introduced us to his government of sowing and reaping. And in the gospels, Jesus taught that word of God is the seed. If we speak God's words, we are sowing seeds. But our words (whether good or bad) are also seeds. We will reap what we sow because the Lord of the Harvest will hold us accountable to the words we say. Our actions are seeds. Have you heard about sowing kindness into people's lives? Why did Jesus say we should do what we want done for us to others? (The golden rule)? Because our actions are seeds in which we will reap. Be careful what you sow into people's lives. If you want people to show kindness to you, then sow a seed of kindness to someone else (the golden rule).
Now to the point. If you renew your mind to what God's word says about sowing and reaping, you'd be amaze to the outcome. God is faithful and He will keep His promises. If God's word says we will reap what we sow, then our words and action should be done in faith. Paul wrote about becoming saved, "If you believe in your heart and confess with your tongue, you shall be saved." Faith and words go together. Don't comment on this post saying it didn't work or my doctrine is unbiblical if you didn't have faith to begin with. God will fulfill all his promises. He will fulfill his precious and divine promises. They are all yes and amen in Christ Jesus. Keep the faith. With the cost of electricity going up, solar companies are taking advantage of consumer by the promise of having solar panels installed. It happened to my sister and me. It was a hot summer night and we were just working on our computers. I was also expecting a woman to come by and buy something from me. We were not prepared to what happened next. A man came to our house, and he seemed pretty nice, but we didn't pray about what he wanted to offer us. He also seemed to care. When he learned of our situation, he preyed on it. Have you read the story of the Gibeonites? Joshua also didn't consult God. He believed them when he saw their "moldy" bread" and "worn out" clothes. In our case, the moldy bread was is "caring' nature. He had won us over. He continued to tell us everything he knew about our electricity bill and when we saw it and believed that it would save us money, we went for it. He came to us as wolves in sheep clothing. Shame on us. But not on you. We should have seen the red flag when he asked about credit score and had my sister sign a contract. The wool was still over our eyes about how we would save money. The hard truth? The money you save would go to SunRun. So in actuality, you have another bill to pay. Of course if you have a good job like my neighbors across the street, having an extra bill wouldn't be a problem. Another downside to having solar panels are pigeons. They like to nest under the panels so you would have to buy critter guard which is another expense, If you ask me, I would rather pay the fees on our electric bill then deal with pigeons and another bill to pay. At least the installation is free. This has been on my heart for some time and it hurts when I hear brothers and sisters in Christ cave in to it; fear. Ever since late 2020 many of them starts living by it. Don't know they know that the blood of Christ will protect them? On that cross Jesus took all our sickness and diseases and his blood has supernatural power, even to heal. Yet when people heard about the coronavirus, they start fearing it! They shouldn't. Only those of the world should fear it. Everyone knows that do not fear is mentioned 365 times in the Bible. There is a reason for that. We should only fear God. Are you living by fear or faith? Both in the old and new testament, it states that the righteous lives by faith. In other words, you live by what you believe. If you believe you will get sick if you don't get vaccinated, you admit to living by fear and not only that you believe that the vaccine will protect you. People like Fauci develop the vaccine. They live in ignorance that Fauci doesn't have your best interest. They put their trust in government agency instead of in God. But does the vaccine really protect? I hear cases where vaccinated people still get sick and then they get a booster shot and then another. Big Pharma don't want you well, they want your money. I really wish people would watch the documentary about the deep state a couple years ago. They would know that they have contaminated our water and put ingredients in cleaners so they we would get sick. Don't believe me? My sister is living proof that our water is contaminated. Before I even brought a water filter system, my sister had an asthma cough every time she drinks water, but now she doesn't. Gates and Fauci are depopulants. They are behind the vaccines. They want to decrease the population s of course they patent the vaccine, but people don't know that or they wouldn't get vaccinated. If you are a Christian, and you get vaccinated, what is your reason? If your boss tells you, you can work here if you get vaccinated, are you putting your faith in your job or God? Did the government give you the job or God? Do you believe that God will give you another job? People needs to evaluate themselves. My sister and I live by faith. I don't believe the vaccine works because I know the truth. And now I hear the unvaccinated are safer than those who are vaccinated. I will continue to wear the mask even though it doesn't protect either. I do it to respect others, not to protect myself. Jesus is my protection and always will be. I live by what I believe. Do you? If you regret getting vaccinated, repent. Plead the blood of Jesus over that. If you disagree with everything I say, that's fine. It's your choice. You don't answer to me, you answer to God. You can say you believe the vaccine won't have any reverse on you because God will protect you, but if God is telling you not to take the jab and you do, don't blame him if you get sick. Jesus called us to not be like the world. Paul wrote that we are not to conform to the pattern of this world. So if the ungodly gets vaccinated and so do you, you are blending in. "My Soul thirst for God, for the Living God." Psalms 42: Jesus preached that we are the salt of the earth and how if we have no salt in us we don't have any flavor. Salt adds flavor to food. Who likes to eat bland food? Not me. I prefer saltine crackers over unsalted crackers anytime. And although Jesus was talking about attracting people to Christianity, salt does something else.
Call me way off base, but could it be possible that we should make others thirsty for God? The Psalmist wrote, "As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul O God." The dry and thirsty land is the state of our soul, but if we have salt in us, wouldn't it possible that we aren't just thirsty for God, but for the Living Water? Jesus said about the Holy Spirit that when we have the Holy Spirit, out of us flows rivers of living water. When we have the Living Water, we thirst no more. Christians shouldn't have to thirst for God because we will always have a supply of life giving water. It is the people of the world who are dry and thirsty. And when they don't have the Holy Spirit, demons becomes inhabitants. (Read Mathew 12:43). Only way to drive out the demon is to have the living water that quenches thirst. We should make known to them their need for God. One way to make then thirsty for God is appeal to their needs. Do they need healing? Tell them how Jesus went about healing people. Do they need deliverance from drugs or whatever bounds them? Tell them how Jesus delivered people in the Bible. Jesus is all we need! God anointed him to heal, deliver and preach good news. Ask the Holy Spirit how you can make someone thirsty for God. Alcohol will never quench that thirst for the Living Water can. The people of America are like Israel of old. What do I mean? In the book of Exodus, The Hebrews were under slavery bondage and hardship. For 439 years, socialism ruled their lives.
Then Moses came along and demanded that Pharaoh let his people go. Moses didn't come in his own power. He didn't want to go before Pharaoh, but God sent Moses brother Aaron to help him. Could you imagine what the people of Israel thought? Their life was hard enough as it was, but Moses made it harder when Moses first asked Pharaoh to let his people go. They have seen all the miracles/judgments of God that the day Moses instructed them to make bread without yeast and to mark their doorposts with blood of animal, could they truly be thinking, this is it? Pharaoh will let us go? As they departed, they acquired much wealth from the Egyptians. They were on their way until they hit the red sea. Then the complaining began. America is the same way. For 4 years, Donald J Trump had saved us from socialism and people started to put their trust in a man instead of God. God raised up Donald Trump not man. God extended his mercy to us Americans by providing an outsider to politics who cares about America, babies and us Christians. He had just become one himself. The problem was people disliked him. They hated his attitude and his tweets. The left called him many names. Some republicans didn't put their support in Donald Trump. Would they prefer Hilary instead? 😮 Truth is God answered our prayers by giving us Donald Trump--our modern day Cyrus. And after seeing what he had done for us, we voted for him again, but the deep state cheated and stole the presidency so America became like Israel. They listened to their prophets put their hopes in certain dates and just like the Israelites their hopes were dashed when their deliverance never happened. They came to the red sea and saw the Egyptians ganging up them. Our current so called administration ganged up on us. They tried to put certain laws in effect and every time the prophets says something (even though they didn't give dates--the true ones), the people of America did. They thought it would change on January 6, the day of the inauguration, the day of Pentecost and so forth yet God never seta date. God wanted people to trust him with the timing. After all, with God, his timing his right on time not whenever people wants us. Look back over the book of Exodus. The forefathers knew of the promises of God. They knew of the Covenant God had made with them yet when a new administration of Egypt arose, they put them in bondage. They might have thought God had given up on them just as people today thought that when God never came through on certain dates. After 430 years, would anyone dare to believe? Yet God did deliver them. And He will deliver us. We must never draw back when it doesn't look like anything will happen. Let God prove true and every man a liar. Even though things look bleak, we must hold fast to our faith and never lose sight of God's promises. One further thought. God had a reason to keep his people in Egypt. It was the only place that he could increase his people. He promised Abraham that his descendants would be like the stars in the sky--too numerous to count. If they were in the promise land already, they would scattered. The time of fruition had come 430 years later. And they have lost hope of that promise right at the red sea. The same for us. More and more had turned to Christ through the ministry of one man--Mario Murillo. Countless of people getting saved. Not only that but because God had exposed and is exposing the corruption of the current administration that many who were on the left are now on the right. I believe the landslide had begun and red sea are the many Americans no longer democrats. We still be under the current administration, but hold onto your faith. God is still working on our behalf. His ways are not ways so don't lose hope when it doesn't happen when you want to. As an author and graphic designer, I depend on using a computer. And so do most people. Whether you are an accountant, work with ads, or wanting to keep up to date with your friends through social media, we all need some kind of device to be connected or work with. But what brand should we get?
Since my father's passing, we started with Dell. They were good computers, but for some reason, I switched to HP. Both were great computers, but what I hated about HP was their support system: they had bots or virtual assistant. It was hard to find an answer to particular problems. These VAs don't understand questions at times and it got frustrating, but with Dell, you can actually contact them, even talk to them on the phone. So, yes they are worth it, but not if you need a repair. Their Repair Depot makes it not worth it. Last year, I bought a pc from a seller on Ebay. I had thought the laptop was new. It was an open box. Most dealers have pcs on display and when they don't anymore they sell them. I thought I was getting one of those, but I found out that the seller was an individual who had used this computer for six months. She had to sell it to pay the bills because the shutdown had put her out of business. I'm glad to help her and it was nice laptop. However, recently, I accidentally spilled water on the keyboards and some of the keys malfunctioned. I sent it into Dell for repairs. I knew if they find liquid damaged keys, they would charge me, but what they did was repair and told me the battery needed replacing. They found nothing wrong with the keyboards. Yeah right. If the keyboard didn't need repair then why did some keys malfunctioned? I doubt the battery was the problem. They even told me they repaired the keyboard yet they lied on the phone. And they sent me an email too in which I replied keep it because I wasn't going to pay them. If the battery was low it was because they caused the battery to become low, not me. They did not keep it. And I didn't not accept it back. They refused to leave me alone After sometime, they have tried to call me. It seems they have not got the message that I did not accept the computer back. They wanted to know if the problem was resolved. Haven't I told them that I was not going to pay them nor received the "unrepaired" computer back? I know it's not their fault that they sold me an used computer. I should have sent it back to the seller who sold it to me, but Dell could have recycled it. They could have saved postage. They didn't resolve any problems and I said no. Still they bugged me. They called and I blocked their number. Then they sent me a customer experience survey. If I filled it out, it would have been 1's. Not worth my time. It's a matter of opinion. This is my personal opinion. If you have a Dell computer and you are happy with it, then by all means keep it. I'm sharing my experience. Just this one advice for anyone looking for a pc: don't buy used or open box computer from anyone on Ebay. When they sent me the box to put the pc in, it was addressed to the original owner because it was still in her name. I should have just recycled the pc myself instead of wasting time with them, but this is a lesson learned. At least I know they aren't all together truthful. To be honest, as much as people depending on electronic devices, they are all made in China and all the reps seem to have an accent. I now have a Lenovo. Acer is not as good as the other brands and Samsung is a little more expensive. I had a Lenovo Chromebook so why not? |
